Learo, an imaginative 11-year-old girl, is relaxing in her cozy, peaceful bedroom, reading a book by the warm glow of her night lamp. Her calm evening is suddenly interrupted when her playful little brother Max bursts into the room, causing chaos before eventually asking her to read him a story.
After snuggling together and reading, Max falls asleep, and Learo carries him — struggling with his weight — to put him in his wheelbarrow bed for the night. She remains unaware that a big adventure is about to begin…
Homeschooled and endlessly curious, Kulsum wrote her debut novel entirely from imagination. While most kids her age are discovering stories, she decided to create her own — a 130+ page fantasy filled with heart, humor, and hope.
