The Dream

Learo, an imaginative 11-year-old girl, is relaxing in her cozy, peaceful bedroom, reading a book by the warm glow of her night lamp. Her calm evening is suddenly interrupted when her playful little brother Max bursts into the room, causing chaos before eventually asking her to read him a story. After snuggling together and reading, Max falls asleep, and Learo carries him—struggling with his weight—to put him in his wheelbarrow bed for the night. She remains unaware that a big adventure is about to begin soon.

The ruined castle

Learo wakes up on the school bus as her class arrives at a mysterious old castle for their field trip. Guided by a middle-aged man named Jeff, the students explore the castle’s ivy-covered walls, vine-filled courtyard, and damaged interior. Despite its beauty, Jeff dislikes the castle because of its dark history. The class takes a lunch break, enjoying their food and sharing treats while sitting peacefully in the courtyard—until suddenly, a loud noise interrupts the calm.
